Registered charity 1218225
We started because a generation was being talked about, not talked to.
Ignite Generation is a non-denominational Christian revival movement based in Charlton, South East London.
Our story
Founded by Troy Scott
Ignite Generation began as a simple conviction: that young people in London are not hard to reach, they are just rarely invited. What started as a handful of people gathering to worship has become a monthly revival night, a growing online community, and a volunteer base serving chaplaincy teams across the city.
We are deliberately non-denominational. People come to us from Pentecostal, Anglican, Catholic, Baptist and no church background at all. We are not trying to pull anyone out of their church - we are trying to put fire back into it.
In 2026 Ignite Generation was entered on the register of charities for England and Wales as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), charity number 1218225. We are governed by a board of trustees, and our accounts are filed publicly with the Charity Commission.

What we believe
Plain enough to fit on one page.
- 01
The Bible is the inspired word of God and our final authority.
- 02
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, crucified, risen, and returning.
- 03
Salvation is by grace through faith, available to anyone who asks.
- 04
The Holy Spirit fills, gifts and empowers believers today.
- 05
The church is one body across every denomination and background.
Governance
Accountable by design
As a registered charity we are run by trustees who serve voluntarily and are responsible for how every donation is used. Our safeguarding policy governs all work with children and adults at risk, and all volunteers in chaplaincy settings work under the supervision of the host prison or NHS trust.
